Over the years, I've been fortunate to give many lectures on AI and large language models in academic and corporate settings, and along the way I've developed a set of tools to help illustrate these ideas. I'm sharing two of them here for anyone who'd like to dig deeper into the topics Steve and I discussed. These links are best viewed on a large screen, like a computer or iPad:

• How LLMs think - The Magic of Embeddings: this tool demonstrates the power of embeddings - numerical representations of words that form the basis of how large language models do what they do.
• How LLMs Talk - Understanding Autoregressive Generation: this tool demonstrates the way LLMs generate responses by generating one word at a time (actually, one token - see the tool for more details).
